Visiting Your
Center for Independent Living

Alliance of Disability Advocates, Center for Independent Living (Alliance) is located at 401 Oberlin Road, Suite 103, Raleigh, NC. The building is accessible from rear entrance off of main parking lot.

Reaching Alliance by Bus

Alliance is located on the inbound and outbound Capital Area Transit (CAT) routes of #16 (Oberlin) and #12 (Method) and three blocks from CAT route #4 (Rex Hospital) on Hillsborough St. Also, at CAT route #4 Rex Hospital stops the regional transit system Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) Hillsborough St. service (to be updated) is available.

Reaching Alliance by Car

Directions are provided from the counties Alliance serves. For additional directions, consult MapQuest.

From Orange/Durham Counties: Take the Chapel Hill Expressway/Wade Avenue exit from Route 40 (Exit 289). Follow the Chapel Hill Expressway for 3 miles until it becomes Wade Avenue. Follow Wade Avenue for 1.6 miles. Take the Oberlin Road ramp toward Cameron Village. Turn right onto Oberlin; Alliance is .7 miles ahead on the right. Parking is available in the rear of the building.

From Franklin County: Take US 401 South to the Peace Street ramp. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Peace Street. Stay left; Peace Street turns into Clark Avenue. Go straight at the intersection of Clark and Oberlin, and turn right into the first parking lot on the right.

From Johnston County: Take US 70 West to I-40 West. Take exit 298B toward Raleigh-Downtown. Turn right onto South Saunders Street. Turn left onto West Lenoir Street, right onto South Boylan Ave, left onto Hillsborough Street and right onto Oberlin Road.

From southern Wake County: Take US 401 North to South Saunders Street. Turn left onto South Saunders Street and follow the directions from Johnston County.
