Alliance of Disability Advocates is located in the capital city of Raleigh* from where the staff provides services to the counties of: Durham*, Franklin*, Johnston*, Orange* and Wake* See: The Triangle and RTP

Disability Rights & Resources is located in the city of Charlotte* from where the staff provides services to the counties of: Cabarrus*, Gaston*, Mecklenburg* and Union*

Joy A. Shabazz Center is located in the city of Greensboro* from where the staff provides services to the counties of: Alamance*, Caswell*, Guilford*, Randolph*, and Rockingham*

The Adaptables is located in the city of Winston-Salem* from where the staff provides services to the counties of: Davidson*, Davie*, Forsyth*, Stokes*, Surry* and Yadkin* See: The Triad

The Mountians
Pathways for the Future is located in the town of Sylva* from where the staff provides services to the counties of: Cherokee*, Clay*, Graham*, Haywood*, Jackson*, Macon* and Swain*

Western Alliance is located in the city of Asheville* from where the staff provides services to the counties of: Buncombe*, Henderson*, Madison*, McDowell*, Polk*, Rutherford* and Transylvania*

Centers for Independent Living serve only 34 of North Carolina’s 100 counties. The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, mandates the establishment of a statewide network of centers for independent living in each state.
