People First Language
People First Language is an objective form of communication on disabilities. Simply put, People First Language refers to all people as people first, then attributes any ability, disability, or quality that an individual might possess. In so doing, it eliminates assumptions and stereotypes because it focuses on the individual instead of the particular attribute of the individual.
